U.S. election looms over International Emmy Awards

The 2016 International Emmy Awards, held at the New York Hilton Hotel and hosted by Scottish actor Alan Cumming.
Winners on the night included German thriller “Deutschland 83”, which won best drama series.
“The Man Who Shot Hiroshima” for best arts programming.
And mockumentary-style series “Hoff the Record” won best comedy.
For this diverse group of TV creatives from around the world, there was one common thread on the night – American politics.
