TOPPENISH, Wash. — Legends Casino has some exciting new additions as it celebrates 19 years of business.
A brand new hotel is now open, along with an expanded gaming floor.
A packed casino floor now features the latest gaming machines and tables – 1,500 of the hottest slots and 18 tables for rounds of roulette, craps, blackjack, and more.
It’s just some of the new amenities attracting large crowds.
“We’ve been in the business for a while now and it was time for us to grow,” said Legends Casino and Hotel General Manager Letisha Peterson. “I think all of the extra things that we’ve brought to the casino is going to be a benefit not only to us but the community and the Yakama Nation.”
Now there’s also a new contemporary hotel with 200 rooms for guests and pets adjoining the 50,000 square-foot casino.
A state-of-the-art buffet is just steps away as well, enhancing the guest experience with more than 375 seats.
“We have returning customers; we have new customers; and we’re expanding our market to other areas including Walla Walla and Wenatchee,” said Peterson.
It’s adding jobs, entertaining guests, and making Legends a destination spot. With more than 730 employees, management said that could reach 1,000 with their future goals and vision.
“We wanted to be able to provide a facility that people can come to and stay overnight,” said Peterson.
