Author Genie Lee Perron is launching a new marketing campaign for her 2013 publication, “Things I Wish my Mother had Said… (or maybe she did)” (published by Balboa Press), in hopes of attracting a wider audience to benefit from the motherly advice contained within.
Perron’s compilation of original artwork and motherly advice ties her mother’s words of wisdom to present-day life with her own children. This loving tribute to her mother, who battled cancer for many years, highlights simple yet effective practices for making life more simple and joyous.
“After my mother got sick, I felt my fairytale had gone astray,” Perron says. “I wanted to share all the important advice my mother told me.”
This Reiki master teacher reveals her own tragedies of cancer, miscarriage and divorce while illustrating life lessons, from gratitude and self-love to holistic remedies and positive thinking. Each chapter highlights encouraging ways to create a brighter, happier and more fulfilling way of life.
