FR Conversions Declares 2018 ‘Year Of Innovation’

The innovations we have in the works and will introduce into the marketplace this upcoming year will, I believe, rock the conversion van industry.

Towards the tail-end of 2017, Westminster, Maryland-based FR Conversions provided several sneak previews of upcoming product lines and options in the conversion van manufacturing marketplace. FR Conversions continues to serve notice to all players in the field with the first ever Crew Cab ProMaster CUV, the virtual ‘Suite on Wheels’ FR ProMaster multi-passenger transport, and most recently, the introduction of the FR ProMaster Pioneer II Type II Ambulance.

“The innovations we have in the works and will introduce into the marketplace this upcoming year will, I believe, rock the conversion van industry,” says FR spokesperson Larry Appel. “Smart dealers and buyers know better than to judge a conversion van by its cover. They’re looking for real features, real benefits, and big differences at better prices. All of these traits and more are exemplified in new breakthrough offerings coming out of our plant here in Westminster. We’re poised to explode onto the scene in 2018 with even bigger and more exciting reveals.”

While the firm is keeping much of what it has planned for 2018 under wraps, it was willing to provide a few highlights of upcoming innovations, including


  •     Choice of taxi or long cut rear entry Pacifica conversions
  •     Choice of side entry Pacifica conversions
  •     Extra-wide 48″ ramp for the Toyota Sienna conversion
  •     Quick Release seats for flexible seating configurations in the ProMaster
  •     Ford Transit CUV
