It’s August—it’s hot out. If you can’t bring yourself to turn on the oven at home, drive to Farm Fresh Pizza Night at 500 Troy Drive to enjoy wood-fired brick oven, made-on-site pizza with farm-fresh ingredients. August is a month of fresh garden-grown veggies, sweet corn and farmers’ market goodies. Join Macha Tea Company at its August Vegan Tasting Dinner, which showcases this season’s bounty. The dinner features seven courses plus dessert designed by Macha and Rob Grisham of Isthmus Dining Co. The menu will depend on what local produce looks best at the market that week, but expect to see a variety of tomatoes, sweet corn, mushrooms and summer squash in the dishes. $75, 7-10 p.m.,
