Since the formation of the Big 12 in 1996, Baylor’s track and field program has consistently ranked among the best teams in the country. The Bears routinely compete for gold medals and records on the national stage.
What has remained elusive, however, is a Big 12 team championship. Neither the Baylor men nor the women have brought home a Big 12 team title, indoors or outdoors, in the history of the conference.
